Objectives

- Create a visual that shows how to use persuasive appeals in different types of media to convince a target audience to take action.
- Develop a multimedia presentation that informs peers about an issue of national or global significance and convinces them to take action.
- Work collaboratively to conduct and synthesize research into an engaging campaign that challenges an audience to make a difference.
Assessments
- Campaign Poster- intended to check students' understanding of providing an engaging hook, presenting an issue, and a call to action
- Video Essay- intended to be used as students draft of their argumentative letter. Students will be able to revise and edit as many times as possible.
- Open Letter- intended to check if students have mastered the standard to write an argument with clear reasons and valid evidence.
