Meet Mrs. Moultrie
"Hello!
My name is Mrs. Moultrie. I am a graduate of Georgia State University where I received my Bachelors in Science Education.
I am currently pursing my Masters degree at Thomas University.
This will be my fifth year teaching at Lindley Sixth Grade Academy.
Here are some of my favorites.
My Hobbies include: Writing, Reading, Shopping, Traveling, Pinning on Pinterest, and Trying to complete DIY Projects from YouTube
My favorite book: I love reading many books and I can't say that I have a favorite. However, my favorite book to read with my students is Among the Hidden.
I am currently reading: Teaching Gifted Kids in Today's Classroom: Strategies and Techniques Every Teacher Can Use
Favorite food: Chicken
Favorite Rapper: T.I.
Favorite NFL Team: Atlanta Falcons
My teaching philosophy: "Teachers are responsible for our place, curriculum, our teaching styles, and the experiences we can provide in our rooms. We are responsible for the way we treat students, for how much we expect from them. The communities in which these students live are responsible also, for reaching out to them, for reading to them when books are available, for encouraging them to do homework" (Landsman 2009).
